I've been extra observant of any "No Dogs Allowed" signage around the city and park-lands. Since Loki came on the downtown scene, I'm hyper aware of where he can explore and check his "pee-mails" without breaking any by-laws.
People ignore the "No Dogs" or "Dogs Must Be on Leash" signs all the time, but I'm essentially that girl who gets caught doing anything wrong. So I usually follow the rules.
You know when everyone else at the sleepover takes a brownie out of the dessert jar without issue, I'd be the one left behind because somehow I got my elbow stuck in it. You know back in the day, when everyone sneaks in through the backdoor of the University pub without problem? I'm the one who gets their puffy jacket stuck in the frame and needs the bouncer to unhook it.......*sideshow Bob-shudder* Needless to say, if there's an element of being caught, I will be be, both literally and figuratively.
What I started noticing the first day I walked Doberdog was the exact replication of Loki's silhouette on all of the dog-related bylaw signs. Is he the inspiration behind these? His likeness is captured perfectly in many variations.
Now that I've pointed these signs out, you're probably going to notice Loki everywhere you (can't) go with your dog. I give you permission to shake your fist at "Loki Law"
On a side note, ever notice the arrow in Fedex between the "E" & the "X"? Now you're going to notice THAT everywhere you go. You're welcome.
